You will find your meter number on your last electricity bill and on the meter itself. Please note that the meter number may consist of numbers and letters.
Unfortunately, the position and number of digits may vary depending on the model. The counter number is often located near the barcode.
The Marktlokations-ID (MaLo-ID) is an 11 digit code, z. B. 51373559241, and is unique throughout Germany. It identifies your consumption point – comparable to an IBAN for your bank account.
You will find the MaLo ID on your last annual statement, often in the header or in the ‘Verbrauchsstelle’ section. If you are currently moving house, you can also ask your landlord or previous tenant for the MaLo ID. It is often noted in the handover report. If you do not have the number when you sign the contract or move, we will request it from the network operator for you – however, this may take a little longer.
